GL&V Acquires technology from Metso

GL&V Acquires Compact Press® wash press technology from Metso. On December 29, 2006, GL&V acquired from Metso Paper the technologies and certain other assets relating to cooking (Metso Paper) as well as the pulp washing oxygen delignification and bleaching business of the Swedish Kvaerner Pulping.

This new acquisition includes the Super Batch®, the Compact Press® and Kamyr wash press technologies, the DUFLO® Pumps as well as the Dual line of chemical mixers and the associated auxiliary equipment for these systems as previously sold by Kvaerner Pulping and Metso Paper.

Combined with GL&V's existing technology portfolio, we are pleased to offer state-of-the-art process solutions for:
