What is Vibration Isolation?

Vibration isolation is the process of isolating an object, such as a piece of equipment, from a source of vibration. Vibration damping mounts are commonly made with an elastomer which is then bonded to metal. Acting like a shock absorber, our vibration mounts allow machines and motors to operate more efficiently and quietly.

Why is it necessary?

Vibration isolation mounts (bobbins, mats etc.) protect your important machinery by reducing the frequency and amplitude of vibrational waves. Applications such as industrial machines and motors (among many others) generate powerful vibrations and excessive noise when active. These vibrations can result in costly damage to equipment, disruptive noise and unsafe working conditions. Anti-vibration mounts act to reduce this vibration, effectively protecting and prolonging the life of your devices saving you money and creating a safer, less-disruptive work environment.
